1. Open EncoderFiles and find your class 2. Make sure the video has finished transferring over
- If it is still transferring over to EncoderFiles, the symbol will
be the symbol shown below
3. Open the file in Quicktime Player 7 4. Trim off the ends of the video where the professor isn't teaching
-To trim drag the markers to the area where you want to trim
-Go to edit->cut to remove selected region
-(Fun Fact: You can place the beginning and the end markers of
the selected region by using the "I" and "O" keys, respectively) 5. Check the rest of the video for errors 6. When you have finished editing the video, save and close it 7. Export the video to the proper course folder on firma.
- Go to File->Export
- Export to firma->(Class name)
-Name it in the format - CprE 545 Lecture 05: 11-05-12 9. After it has finished exporting, check the video on Blackboard 10. Move the video in EncoderFiles into the sub folder "Uploaded"
